Imellda Ho Millinery
Imellda Ho is a milliner & accessory designer based in Hong Kong. She is a degree holder in Fashion & Textile Design of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. After a few years working as a fashion designer, she decided to further study millinery production in London from Ms Rose Cory, the Royal Warrant holder, and the Milliner for Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother. Before setting up the brand, in order to enhance the knowledge of related materials, Imellda has taken a Certificate course in Jewellery Design & Production in The Baptist University at evening while day time working in office to learn more technical skill from fashion, which can be useful for handmade head piece or millinery production. The first piece of Imellda’s millinery has inspired from her beloved elements, bird and flower. Using these elements with contrast colours, pink and green, it is a presentation for her girly mind and fairy tales imagination. This piece of work is very popular among her friends. A lot of complements is encouraged Imellda to keep working on head pieces and millinery and after a year, the workshop of Imellda Ho Millinery is established.
